Jenny Sutphen
Jenny Sutphen has been selected as a Campus Recreation Employee of the Month in the Office Supervisors Department. Sutphen, a senior Business Administration major from Kendall, New York, is in her second year working at Campus Recreation. "I really like it and think it's a friendly atmosphere," said Sutphen about her experience working at Campus Rec. "It's fun to work here with everyone."
Sutphen was selected as a Co-Employee of the month due to her outstanding ability to show initiative from her position as the Special Events Assistant at Campus Recreation. Sutphen is responsible for creating the Campus Recreation cooking class, as well as the Crafty No Sew Fleece Blanket event which was booked to capacity this year. Sutphen also created the Build Your Own Toboggan event at Oswego Winterfest, and assisted on various other programs throughout the semester.
"Initiative is going out of the way and coming up with new things that people will like," said Sutphen, "I think it sets you apart from other people."
In addition to working at Campus Recreation, Sutphen enjoys playing soccer, hanging out with friends, and working out.
