Campus Recreation Employees of the Month

Sports official Jason Ramirez has been chosen as a Campus Recreation Employee of the Month in the Intramural department.

Ramirez is a first year sports official for Campus Rec, and says that working for Campus Recreation has been one of the best he has had at SUNY Oswego. "My experience working for Campus Recreation has been an amazing experience. I have met so many new amazing people and formed many new relationships. I truly believe all Campus Rec intramural employees to be like my second family. I wish I had become an employee earlier in my academic career."

Ramirez, a Senior Wellness Management and Biology major from The Bronx was chosen as the Campus Recreation Employee of the Month due to his outstanding ability to show initiative while being a sports official. "I recall during many of our trainings showing initiative by being the first to ask or answer questions based on some rules or situations that we may have needed clarification on. I believe this helped my co-workers and I prepare ourselves, and increase our confidence and abilities when we officiate a sport," said Rameriz.

Along with being a sports official, Ramirez also enjoys playing soccer, playing the drums, being a DJ, and hanging out with his friends and family.
