Christina Mead
Sophomore Christina Mead has been selected as a Campus Recreation Employee of the Month in the Office Supervisors Department. Mead is the Administrative Assistant at Campus Recreation, and has been working there since October of 2012.
"I have been having a great time working at Campus Recreation," said Mead. "Everyone is extremely nice and inviting. Whenever someone needs help with a task, there is always someone there who is more than willing to help out."
Mead, a Sophomore Psychology Major from Brewster, New York was selected as an Employee of the Month due in part to her ability to show initiative from her position as the Administrative Assistant. "I always go out of my way to help other people, even if I have things to do," said Mead.
Mead states that she believes initiative is a good trait to have because it lets others know that you are both friendly and caring.
Along with working at Campus Recreation, Mead also shows her initiative by being the Senator of Onondaga Hall, and being both the Chair of Elections and Treasurer of the Red Cross Club on campus.
