Campus Recreation Report

In Intramural sports, basketball and broomball highlighted the week. In the basketball tournament, Lee Hall Legends lived up to their number one seed with a 82-27 win over Dunk Drivers. The second seeded Jellyfish and third seeded Goons also had double digit victories. Other teams advancing were Below the Rim, Win or Lose We Always B....., Phoenix, Optimus Prime, and Splash Brothers. In the Co Rec division the Oswego State Warriors, Late Bloomers, and the Monstars all got first round victories. An intramural champion was crowned in the women's division as oSWAGo won two games in two days to take home this year's championship.

In the Broomball Co Rec division Eskimo Family kept their record perfect with a 6-1 win over Ice Ice Baby. Chris Timmons scored three goals in the win. Good Sauce moved their record to 1-1 with a 5-0 win over Average Joe's. The game was highlighted with five goals being scored by Max Principe. Rounding out the undefeated teams in the Co Rec division are Crimson Panthers, Dotties Fun Nuggets, The Master Debaters, Multiple Scorgasms, and the Slippery Shafts. In the men's division three teams remain undefeated. The Icebrawlers edged Win or Lose We Always B..... 4-1 behind three goals from Tyler Wilcha. Derp Dynasty beat the Rolltiders 2-1, and Snipe Chirp Cele has yet to allow a goal through their first two games.

The indoor soccer league began on Sunday, February 9. In the Co Rec Competitive division Slide n Score defeated Ballbusters 8-6, and Toon Bomb Squad outlasted Generic Team Name 3-2. In the Co Rec Recreational division Team Swagger had their way with Oswego Fire winning 9-1, and The Fat and Furious took down De Royals 13-6 behind four goals from Corey Bruet. In the Men's Competitive division The Incredibles had a convincing first game victory over Stoke City Sloths 10-2, and Team Dump Truck scored four unanswered goals to knock off Free Mustache Rides 4-3. In the Men's Recreational division Ghafari Cuts beat The Phoenix 3-2, and Limp Noodles beat Hungover 12-4.
