Past Players of the Week

James O'Donnell

Player of the Week

Senior history major James O'Donnell earned player of the week for his outstanding plays during broomball for both his men's league team and co-recreational team.

His spot as player of the week was secured when he scored two goals each for Pillow Flops and Half Chubs on Tuesday, Nov. 13 and again when he scored another two goals on the Sunday, Nov. 18 game with Pillow Flops.

James' participation in intramurals spans beyond broomball to floor hockey, soccer and flag football.  An avid intramural player, James enjoys participating as a way to relieve stress from school work.  It also coincides with his sports dominated upbringing, influenced by his father.

Playing in intramurals for two and a half years now, James tends to play with the same core group due to their success throughout the individual seasons.  This success is clearly demonstrated through his men's team, which has secured a spot in the semifinals.

James' talent and scoring ability make him a great player in the broomball world.
