Past Players of the Week

Eric Golderman

Player of the WeekAlthough only a freshman, Eric proved himself as a valuable component to his team, winning them T-shirts in the finals.

Eric first tried out for the D3 baseball team, but intramurals proved a better fit with his study habits needed to accompany his biology major. With the extra time, Eric is also able to participate in soccer intramurals, which initially earned him a spot on his softball team.

Eric has been active in sports ever since he was four-years-old running around the gymnastics mats; from there he transitioned to soccer, baseball and basketball in high school. In the early stages of his baseball career, Eric participated in the 13U World Series in Battle Creek, Mich., a fact he was proud to announce.

He accompanies some of his success to his parents, his no. 1 fans. Always there to drive him from point A to point B, his parents have supported his athletic abilities. Beyond his parents, Eric is heavily influenced by Michael Jordan and one of his all-time favorites, the movie Rocky Balboa.

Though his future will focus more on biology as a nurse or physician's assistant, Eric is content being an intramural all-star.
