Lee Hall is located off Centennial Drive, across the street from the Poucher Hall parking lot (Lot E-17). The main entrance is on the south side of the building.
Who is eligible to play Intramural Sports?
All SUNY Oswego faculty, staff, and students registered for classes and in good disciplinary and financial standing are eligible to play intramural sports. There are conditions for the participation of intercollegiate athletes and Club Sport members. No dependents or guests are permitted to participate in intramural sports. Refer to our Eligibility Policies for more detailed information.
How do I sign up for an Intramural Sport?
There are two ways to sign up for an intramural sport. The first way is to sign up as part of a team. The second way is to register as a Free Agent, attend the Captain’s Meeting for the sport you wish to play, and be placed on a team that does not have a full roster. For intramural tournaments that have singles and doubles divisions (such as Tennis, Table Tennis and Billiards), Individual and Doubles entry forms are used. The registration forms are available online and at the front desk of Lee Hall.
I signed up as a free agent, but I missed the Captain’s Meeting. Can I still join a team?
If you have signed up for an intramural sport as a Free Agent but did not attend the Captain’s Meeting, there is still an opportunity for you to join a team. Team captains are allowed to make changes to their rosters up until the third game in regular league play. By attending the games during the first week of regular league play, you may be able to join a team that does not have a full roster.
If my team has time conflicts, can our games be scheduled around those conflicts?
The team captain should indicate on the roster form which days and times the team is unavailable to play. The Intramural Supervisors will use that information when scheduling the games for regular league play. For league playoffs and intramural tournaments, every effort will be made to honor scheduling requests through the first round of tournament play.
I have a friend/family member coming to visit me. Can they come to Lee Hall to play basketball?
Students, faculty and staff with a valid SUNY Oswego ID may invite one guest to use Lee Hall during Open Recreation for a $3.00 fee. All participants are responsible for their guests and must accompany them at all times while in the facilities, and should make sure guests are aware of the Regulations and Procedures for Maintaining Public Order on Campuses for the State University of New York. Students, faculty, and staff members may bring in one guest over the age of 18 at a time by registering them at the front desk of Lee Hall when they arrive. Any dependent or family member under the age of 18 may utilize the facilities but must be accompanied by a parent or guardian at all times. For more information, please refer to our Guest Policy.
How can I get a job with Campus Recreation?
Most of the hiring for the academic year occurs in April for the following year. A very limited number of positions may be available in December for the spring semester. If you are interested in a position, please attend the recruitment seminar in April or contact 315-312-3114 for more information.
Why do I need my ID card?
The Campus Recreation facilities are open to members of the university community. Your valid SUNY Oswego ID card must be presented at the front desk of Lee Hall upon entrance to the facilities. Students, faculty and staff at the front desk may check out equipment by presenting a valid ID card. The ID card will remain at Lee Hall until all equipment is returned in the condition it was checked out. Damaged, lost or stolen equipment is the responsibility of the person who left their ID for the equipment check out. Additionally, participants in intramural sport leagues and tournaments must present their ID cards to the Intramural Supervisor at the start of each game in order to play and check out equipment.
May alumni use the Intramural facilities?
Any SUNY Oswego alumni in possession of an appropriate Oswego Alumni Recreation ID card and their spouse/partner or dependent may use the open recreation facilities at Lee Hall. The Oswego Alumni Recreation ID cards are available through King Alumni Hall on George Washington Blvd. You may call 315-312-2258 for more information. Alumni are not permitted to participate in Intramural sport leagues or tournaments.

Can I return any basketball, I forgot the number of mine?
No, you must return the exact piece of equipment you were rented out. You (and only you) are responsible for any and all damages that may occur to that equipment while it is in your possession.
How do you get to the men's locker rooms/pool?
Go through the brown double doors and go downstairs. The men's locker room is on the right. To get to the pool go all the way to the back of the locker room, through the door in the room with the showers, up the stairs, and into the pool.
How do I get to the racquetball courts?
Head towards the wall with the clock and then turn left down the hall. Pass the men's and women's bathrooms, pass the staircase, and the racquetball/squash courts will be down the hallway on the right.
I lost my ID, Can I still access Lee hall?
You may only enter Lee hall without your valid Oswego ID once. The OA or BM will check your ID number against a database and if you have not entered without your ID before, you may come in. If you have, you will either have to go get your ID or be signed in as a guest by someone with their ID and pay the $3 guest fee.
