Shannon Cilento is a sophomore from Mexico, NY and this is her first semester of being an RM, but her second year of living in Johnson. She has a double major in Cultural Anthropology and Global and International Cultural Studies and a minor in Political Science. Shannon's dream job would be working for UNESCO, the United Nations department of cultural preservation. She loves traveling and wants to preserve and educate the world about things like historic monuments (i.e. Easter Island heads or Stonehenge) and dying languages/dialects. Some of her favorite things to do include traveling, playing softball and soccer, running, shopping, and yoga. She also loves hiking-this January, Shannon will be traveling to Tanzania to climb Mount Kilimanjaro, the tallest mountain in Africa. She can't wait to move back to campus to meet her new residents and have a great semester!
