If you would like to stay in the same room for next year, choose “Squat (stay in my room)” from the dropdown menu. Click here for more information.

If you would like to live in the same building next year but would like to choose a different room, choose “Choose a different room in my building.”  Click here for more information.

If you want to live in Onondaga next year, choose “Enter the lottery for a suite in Onondaga.”  Click here for more information.

If you want to live in a hall other than your current building or Onondaga next year, choose “Enter the lottery for a different hall.”  Click here for more information.

Johnson residents can only choose "Enter the lottery for a suite in Onondaga" or "Enter the lottery for a different hall."

Squatting

Provided they participate in Phase I or Room Selection, individual residents of all buildings other than Johnson and Onondaga can choose to squat (stay in) their room for next year.

Johnson Hall residents must choose a room in a different building.

In order to squat in Onondaga, current residents must fill the entire suite. If unable to fill all beds in the suite, current residents can choose a suite during Phase III-c (In-Hall Room Selection).

Onondaga

To be eligible for the Onondaga lottery, students must be in groups of 2, 4 or 6. See Onondaga Lottery for more information.

Smoking
Smoking is not allowed in the residence halls; however, some people are so sensitive to smoke that living with a person who smokes elsewhere is problematic. For this reason, we ask that you be completely honest in answering this question.
