Instructions for Room Selection

1. Login to myOswego.

2. Click on “Student Room Selection.”

3. Accept the terms of the Room & Board Agreement.

4. Pay the $100 Housing Deposit online (you can pay in person at Student Accounts,

    408 Culkin).

5. Go to http://myHousing.oswego.edu and login, using your oswego.edu email username

    and password.

6. Verify that the information on the myHousing Overview page is correct.

7. Submit housing preferences using the “Personal Preferences” link under “navigation”

    on the left.

8. Submit roommate/suitemate preferences using the “Roommates/Suitemates” link under

    “navigation” on the left.

9. Return to myHousing.oswego.edu to find out when to participate in Phase III.

10. Participate in Phase III at or after your designated Start Time by clicking on “Room

      Selection” under “navigation” on the left of the myHousing.oswego.edu site.

My Future Room Selection Process

After participating in Phase II (submitting your personal preferences and roommate requests) you will be directed to return to myHousing after a specifically designated time to learn more about the next step in the Room Selection Process:  Phase III. Information will include:

• Lottery – the specific part of Phase III you’re scheduled to participate in
• Starts – the date and time that lottery begins
• Ends – the date and time that lottery ends
• Your Start Time – the date and time when you can first participate in this lottery.

Please note that Your Start Time is the date and time when you are first eligible to participate in that specific Phase III Room Selection Process. This date and time is assigned based on class year and lottery number. You can participate at any time between Your Start Time and that lottery’s end time.
