Oswego State is a residential campus, with approximately 3700 undergraduates living in college housing. Our beautiful 700-acre campus is home to 13 residence halls that offer a variety of living options. All of the halls are coed, housing both men and women. Some are coed by wing, others are coed by section. The halls are situated in residential areas, similar to neighborhoods. These are:
Regardless of which hall you live in, you can be assured you'll find a lot of interesting and fun things to do as well as the potential for a great "home-away-from-home" atmosphere. Each residence hall room is typically designed for two students and furnished with a bed, mattress, dresser, desk, chair, floor lamp and closet for each resident.
Larger rooms in Cayuga, Oneida and Seneca Halls that were formerly student lounges have been converted into student bedrooms.
- In Cayuga Hall, three students are typically assigned to a lounge.
- Oneida and Seneca Halls, four students are generally assigned.
- Coordinating the furnishings and arrangements of your room is a good opportunity to become better acquainted with your new roommate(s).
