Thursday, March 20: Final closing for Spring Recess (8 am)

Sunday, March 30: Halls re-open (noon)

Friday, May 16: Halls close for Summer Recess (6 pm) - Special Security

Saturday, May 17: Final closing for Summer Recess (8 am)

Saturday, May 17: Halls close for graduating seniors (6 pm)

For Thanksgiving and Spring Recesses, students are expected to leave by 6 pm on the designated date; those who need to stay overnight may stay until 8:00 am the next day by notifying their Hall Director.  For end-of-semester closings (winter and summer recesses), students are expected to leave within 24 hours of their last final examination, but no later than 6:00 p.m. on the last day of finals (Friday, December 14, 2007, and Friday, May 16, 2008, respectively). Residents with academic obligations may request to stay until 8:00 a.m. the following morning. Upon request, the Department of Residence Life and Housing can provide limited housing during periods of recess.
