Hello from the Oneida Hall Council!

What We Do?

As a Hall Council, we hold meetings bi-weekly, to discuss issues and concerns from the residents of Oneida Hall. We also plan events as a board for the enjoyment of Oneida Hall. It is important to us to listen to everything that the residents have to say so that we can forward it to higher residence life authority. 

Why We Do it? 

To better the hall and be sure that everyones concerns in the building are heard. 

How/ Where We Do It? 

At our meetings, Wednesday's at 9pm in the second floor lounge of Oneida. We listen to any concerns that you may have, and also keep residents informed about what is happening around campus and in Residence Life and Housing. 

About the RA's

Tara Hecke is a Meteorology Major from Eden, New York. Before coming to Oswego she went to Erie Community College in Buffalo, NY. She is an active member of Meteorology club and mentors incoming transfer students. Tara is a huge Buffalo sports fan and loves being an RA in Oneida Hall. 

Hey Guys! My name is Lexie and I am a sophomore. I'm from Vestal, New York and I'm studying to become a teacher.  I love to read and watch tons of movies! I'm always willing to help and have a good time! :)

My name is Dan Hayes. I have been an RA in Oneida Hall since January 2011. I am a senior Marketing major who will be graduating this May. I went to community college at Onondaga CC, where I received my Associate's Degree in Business Administration in 2010. I love being in Oneida Hall and being a role model to my residents. My favorite Teams are the NY Giants and the NY Yankees. 

Laura Stone is from Malone, New York and lives with her mom, brother, and their farm of animals. She is a Junior Wellness Management major and has a minor in Health Science. She takes part in several clubs and organizations on campus such as Omicron Delta Kappa (ODK) which is a National leadership and volunteer service honor society. She is also on the  OSU Cross fit club and the Health Promotion and Wellness Club. She loves being a part of these clubs and meeting new people and making new friends. Laura has enjoyed being an RA at Oneida Hall for the past two years and helping residents with whatever problems they have. She has enjoyed working with two very different staffs, and will miss everyone when she moves off campus for her senior year.  

My name is Darshanè Campbell. I am Hall Council Vice President. I work the cameras at Oswego's news station WTOP. I am a Psychology major, minoring in Forensic Science. I enjoy photography and ballet. I am a Sophomore and super excited to be in college.

Hi my name is Emily! I'm a Sophomore zoology major and I'm the treasurer of Oneida Hall Council.  I'm from New York City and I like to play my ukulele and hang out with friends, and I'm hoping to be working in the medical field after I go to grad school.

Hey! My name is Amy Killie and I am the Oneida Hall Secretary. I am from Ridgefield, CT and I am a Zoology major. I am a Sophomore and I am hoping to be working in the medical field someday. Come check out Hall Council!

Hello Everyone! My name is Gillian Kuhlman. I'm Oneida's Hall Council President . I'm From Brooklyn, New York and a Sophomore Broadcasting major and Business Minor.
