Transfer Orientation

Highlights

At Orientation you will have the opportunity to:
  • Meet with academic representatives and an advisor
    Representatives and an academic advisor will help answer questions about major and transfer credits as well as help you complete your fall course schedule.
  • Register for classes
    You will leave Orientation knowing your class schedule for the fall.
  • Find out about student services
    Discover the resources, services and programs that are available to assist you along your journey at Oswego.
  • Learn about important transition issues
    You will experience theatrical programs and workshops that will focus on the unique needs of transfer students and how to make the transition to Oswego enjoyable with as little stress as possible!
  • Spend time with other transfer students
    Meet other transfer students, share past experience, and begin to build relationships that will carry on into the academic year.
  • Attend special social events
    As a part of the optional overnight Orientation program, you will get to experience special social programs during the evening that will provide you opportunities to meet various campus staff members and interact with fellow transfer students in a very relaxing, enjoyable dinner setting.
