Why did you choose Oswego? I chose Oswego for its Meteorology program. I ended up changing my major but I love it here so much I have no reason to leave. Besides, Lake Ontario is awesome!
Campus Involvement: Orientation, Resident Assistant for Cayuga Hall, Tutor, Intramurals: Broomball and Softball
Favorite college memory so far: My entire first year was the most exciting and rewarding experience of college so far.
What do you want new students to know about coming to Oswego? The hardest part of going to college at Oswego is deciding on what you want to do with your time because this campus has so much to offer. I have not had a boring moment here yet. Even when it snows (which is not as bad as it sounds) people go outside and make giant snowmen. Academically, faculty, staff and fellow students are always willing to help. Everyone here wants you to succeed and they will do everything in their power to help you achieve your goals.
What makes you unique? I think the most unique thing about me is my name. My father, grandfather and great grandfather are all named "Rocco". I have only met one student on campus with the last name "Rocco" and one student whose middle name was "Rocco". So I am proud to say that I am the only Rocco on campus . . . for now!
