Why did you choose Oswego? I chose Oswego because it had great opportunities in my major. It was also close to my hometown, but far enough I could be on my own. The campus is beautiful and the sunsets are amazing!
Campus Involvement: I ran XC in the fall, am a sports anchor at WTOP, the student-run news station, and play intramurals when I have the time.
Favorite college memory so far: There have been a lot, but I would have to say all the new people I've met and the great times we've had together.
What do you want new students to know about coming to Oswego? Know that college is what you make of it. There are so many great opportunities here at Oswego for you. There are many great study abroad programs, different internships, clubs and activities. There is truly something for everyone here. You just have to come in with a positive attitude and seek it out.
What is makes you unique? Well, I love eating cream pies (the oatmeal Little Debbie snacks) and one of the guys on the track team gave me the nickname "Cream Pie" so I dressed up as a cream pie for Halloween . . . I like to think I have a great, outgoing personality and love meeting new people. I grew up my whole life as a vegetarian (was just raised that way) and for the most part still don't eat any meat.
