Favorite type of music: I know it's cliche to say but I really do love all kinds of music!!! But if I had to pick one artist that is my favorite I would definitely have to choose Jack Johnson.
Favorite food: I am absolutely in love with Mexican food. Tacos, burritos, Spanish rice, nachos, empanadas. I will eat it all.
Favorite type of movies: I love movies that make me laugh. It doesn't even have to be a comedy; it could be something as silly as the Brave Little Toaster Goes to Mars.
Hobbies: Dancing is my most favorite thing to do, besides laughing. I am also into music, tennis, skiiing, and building things.
Why did you choose Oswego? The atmosphere was my number one reason for choosing Oswego. I already knew it had a great Technology Education program as did three other schools I was considering. Yet, when I stepped on this campus, it far exceeded the rest in feeling like a second home. The people were friendly and helpful, the scenery beautiful and relaxing, and I just did not want to leave. I still don't!
Campus Involvement: Besides being a Laker Leader, I am currently the Treasurer for the Oswego Technology Education Association, the President of Epsilon Pi Tau, and a choreographer and dancer for Del Sarte Dance Club.
Favorite college memory so far: This is tough to answer since I have loved every second of my three years here so far. I think the best part of college is just making new friends. I know it's not one specific memory but I have met some truly amazing people here and it has made all the difference.
What do you want new students to know about coming to Oswego? My biggest piece of advice would be to go knock on someone's door! You're all in the same boat coming to a new place so get out and meet some new people. No one is going to get mad at you for introducing yourself. I'm pretty sure they would appreciate it! Who knows . . . some new best friends could be only three doors down.
What is your favorite place? My favorite place in the whole world is Cape Hatteras, North Carolina!
