Favorite type of music: I enjoy listening to anything and everything!

Favorite food: I have a new found love for Mexican foods!

Favorite type of movies: Comedy and mushy romantics are a must.

Hobbies: Tutoring students after school and enjoying time with friends.

Why did you choose Oswego? The Education program really impressed me here. I couldn’t imagine myself getting a degree at any other institution because of the friendly staff who are always ready to help you. This program has assured me that education is the right career path for me and I’m thankful for the experience and knowledge I have gained.

Campus Involvement: Assistant Coordinator for Orientation Programs - I unfortunately don’t have much time for anything else because of student teaching.

Favorite college memory so far: Friday afternoons lounging on the flat rocks by the lake with friends and of course my 3+ years with Orientation.

What do you want new students to know about coming to Oswego? There is always someone who can help you with any issues/questions you may have throughout your stay at Oswego. Some key people to contact are your Laker Leader (they are available to you all year!), your RA/RM/GRM or Hall Director, Advisor, and Professors. If these people won’t be able to help you they will know who to refer you to, you will never be left hanging with a question.

What makes you unique? My pride in Oswego makes me unique because it can be attributed to my work in the Orientation Office. From being a Laker Leader all the way to being an Program Coordinator, I have found that Oswego is a wonderful place to live and work for all year round. I’m thankful for being involved in Orientation for so long because it has helped me to understand why Oswego is my favorite community to live in.
