8:30pm-9:30pm 19th Annual Torchlight Ceremony in Convocation Arena: Take part in an Oswego tradition! Immediately following the ceremony, students will be directed towards the opening events!
9:30pm-12am First Night Oswego!!! at the Convocation Center, North Lawn: Its one huge party!!! Enjoy the sounds of Up the Chain, live from Philly! Partake in laser tag and the inflatable sports arena! You can also pimp your flippy floppies, get airbrushed tattoos, and so much more!!!
Saturday, August 29th "A Day to be Involved"
9:45am-11:45am Project Paint at Riverwalk in Oswego: A great first year student only community service opportunity! Transportation will be provided from the Campus Center bus loop.
12pm-2pm Project Play at Lee Hall Fields hosted by Campus Recreation: Join in on some friendly competition between Residence Halls!
2pm-6pm Blood Drive at the Ice Arena Concourse: Every donor will receive a coupon for free ice cream from Friendly's!
6:15pm-7:15pm Transfer Student Reception in CC114: The perfect opportunity for transfer students to connect with other transfers!
7pm-11pm SAPB Carnival at the Convocation Center, North Lawn: It's going to be a super fun extravaganza!
Sunday, August 30th "Not-So-Lazy Sunday"
2pm-4pm Shuttles to Wal-Mart: The perfect time to pick up anything you may have forgotten to pack. Meet at the Campus Center Bus loop.
3pm-4pm GST 100 Meetings: If you are registered for GST 100, it's time to meet your fellow classmates and facilitators.
7pm-8pm Floor Meetings in Residence Halls: An opportunity to meet all the other students who are living on your floor!
