Orientation

To register for your Orientation program, complete the steps outlined below:

  • E-mail is an official form of communication for SUNY Oswego. An official college e-mail account ends with "oswego.edu." All students are assigned and are expected to activate their SUNY Oswego e-mail account after they have paid their admissions deposit. Official communications from SUNY Oswego will be sent through this new student's e-mail account.  Please refer to the "New Student Menu" in myOswego for information on how to activate your SUNY Oswego  e-mail account.
  • All new students must submit the New Student Information Sheet (online) prior to registering for an Orientation Program. Once you have completed this form online, an academic advisor will review your information and create your schedule. You will see activity on your account in MyOswego before you arrive to your Orientation Program.  
  • All new students must complete a Medical Health History Form (online), the Meningitis Survey (online), and submit his/her Immunization Records either by fax or e-mail to the Mary Walker Health Center prior to being eligible to select an Orientation Program. You do not need to have a physical examination in order to select an Orientation program. If you are an incoming Athlete and have any questions regarding the Physical Health Form, please contact the Mary Walker Health Center at 315-312-4100.
  •  Orientation: R U Ready?After completing the steps above, you will be ready to select an Orientation program to attend. For more about Orientation and the step-by-step process for registering, please refer to this copy of our R U Ready? (dowlnloadable pdf, 7.7 MB) mailing, which you will receive a hard copy of after you pay your deposit. 

*Please select your Orientation program at least 5 business days prior to the start of your selected program in order to ensure that we have time to pre-register you for courses.
