We are excited you have chosen SUNY Oswego as your college destination! Before you embark on your journey at SUNY Oswego, there are a few important tasks that as a new student you must complete prior to attending an orientation program. For a complete list, please log onto myOswego and click on the "New Student Menu." Additional important information is also highlighted below. Important Information

All new spring 2012 students will receive a phone call and an email to your new Oswego email account after you have paid your deposit. If you have not received your email or received a phone call and you have submitted your Admission Deposit, please contact the Orientation Office at 315.312.5522 or orient@oswego.edu.

E-mail is an official form of communication for SUNY Oswego. An official college e-mail account ends with "oswego.edu." All students are assigned and are expected to activate their SUNY Oswego e-mail account as soon as an Admission Deposit is submitted. Most official communications from SUNY Oswego will be sent through the student's e-mail account. Please refer to the "New Student Menu" in myOswego for information on how to activate a SUNY Oswego e-mail account.

All new students must complete a Health History Information Form and file Immunization Records with the Mary Walker Heath Center prior to registering for an Orientation program. Look here for more information on this requirement and to obtain the necessary forms.
- All new students must complete a new student "Information Form" prior to registering for an Orientation Program. In addition, some students (dependant on major) will need to complete web-based Math Entrance Exams prior to registering for an Orientation program. Please refer to "Step #5" on the "New Student Menu" in myOswego for information on these requirements.
- Step 5 will be available on December 8th - we have experienced errors in the program and we are working on them.
