Welcome to our new Fall 2013 students and families!!

We are excited you have chosen SUNY Oswego as your college destination! Before you embark on your journey at SUNY Oswego, there are a few important tasks that as a new student you must complete prior to attending an orientation program. For a complete list, please log onto myOswego and click on the "New Student Menu." Additional important information is also highlighted below. Please do not hesitate to contact us if you have any questions. We will be sending out a mailing from our Orientation office to you soon.

Important Information 

 Orientation Dates:  New Transfer Students:  July 3rd, July 18 and August 6

 Orientation Dates:  New Freshman Students:  June 30 & July 1,  July 8 & 9,  July 11 & 12, July 15 & 16, July 21 & 22, July 29 & 30, and August 1 & 2.

• All new students who will be living in the Residence Hall and have attended a summer Orientation will move in on Friday, August 23, 2013

• E-mail is an official form of communication for SUNY Oswego. An official college  e-mail account ends with "oswego.edu." All students are assigned and are expected to activate their SUNY Oswego e-mail account as soon as an Admission Deposit is submitted. Official communications from SUNY Oswego will be sent through this new student's Oswego e-mail account. Please refer to the "New Student Menu" in myOswego for information on how to activate your SUNY Oswego e-mail account.

• All new students must complete a Health History Information Form and file Immunization Records with the Mary Walker Heath Center prior to registering for an Orientation program.  This can be completed in MyOswego. When you go to the New Student Menu, it will be under Step 2. If you have any questions, please contact the Walker Health Center @ 315-312-4100.

• All new students who will be living on campus will need to make their Residence Hall selection -- your email will need to be activated for at least 48 hours in order to be able to make your selection.  The Selection process will begin early March 2013.

• All new students must complete a new student "Information Form" prior to registering for an Orientation Program.  Please refer to the "New Student Menu" in myOswego .
