Peer Educators
Get involved!

Lifestyles Peer Educators are Oswego State students who are committed to creating a campus social environment that provides lower-risk choices for students and promotes and reflects the attitudes, behaviors and values of a healthy lifestyle. The Peer Educators are trained to facilitate on-campus as well as off-campus workshops and programs that address issues relating to: alcohol & other drugs, general wellness, sexual health and violence prevention

Lifestyles Peer Educators are dynamic students who are trained to make a significant contribution to this campus. As Lifestyles Peer Educators, they believe in their ability to stimulate personal growth in others as well as in themselves and recognize this talent as vital to a healthier student community. Peer Educators have the energy to create programs, find audiences, facilitate discussions of their chosen subject(s) and understand that their contribution to the Lifestyles Center will positively affect them and the peers they reach.

Students, who would like to join a group that promotes a range of healthier behaviors and that enhances the social and educational environment on the Oswego State campus, can contact the Lifestyles Center via e-mail at lifestyle@oswego.edu or call 312-5648 for more information.
