Endless opportunities to work with our office...

Office Assistant: (currently filled) generally work-study eligible, they are hired on an annual basis to provide support for Office operations as well as perform specific duties and assist with office projects.

Computer Assistant: (currently filled) this position is open periodically and involves working for the department six to 10 hours per week maintaining computer systems and assisting with special information technology projects.

Undergraduate Intern: work 10 to 12 hours each week at the COMPASS, performing a variety of tasks. Interns receive 3 credit hours each semester for their work. Both internships are one year commitments, and selection for these internships begins each year in the month of January. Please contact a member of our staff to find out more about these exciting internships and how to apply. We may also want at the fact that the internship is available to juniors and seniors.

  • Public Relations Interns are selected a each January-February and provide a communication link from Career Services to our students.
  • Compass Navigators are selected each February and trained students who provide first level contact for those visiting the office or making a telephone inquiries.

Graduate Assistant: provide a number of functions to assist our clients. Our Graduate Assistants are generally involved in working in the Career office for 20 hours each week. In return for this work, they receive a salaried stipend and tuition waiver. Graduate Assistants conduct appointments with students/alumni on a scheduled basis. They also have a variety of functions which support Office services and programs. Currently the Career Services Office has two graduate assistant positions, which are open generally every other year.
