Reference Folder Service
REGISTRATION INFORMATION:
Special Note: If you established a reference folder prior to January 2009, and have not yet converted to the new online reference count, please click here.
Please download the registration instructions (180 kb file).
Fee Structure for online reference account: Registration Fee: $15 which provides access to the system for ten years
If you have a current paper-based reference folder, please contact the Career Services office (315-312-2255) to determine if you have any remaining credits left on your paper-based file which could be transferred toward the $15 registration fee for the digital system.
Mailing Fee: $6 (first class or electronic delivery)

Payments can be made
A. Cash (in our office, 142 Campus Center);
B. Check or money order (made payable to SUNY Oswego);
C. Credit Card: Call Career Services with a credit card number or download our credit card form and mail it to us at the contact information on the form.
REQUESTING REFERENCES AND PLACING ORDERS:

Please be aware that this process will take significantly longer than it would if the reference writer submits your letters online due to the manual scanning process
If your reference writer prefers to submit your reference in paper format instead of via the online system, you may obtain the reference form document by contacting the Career Services office and we will email the it to you. Your writer can then mail the document directly to Career Services and we will convert and upload it into your account. Be sure to fill out the top portion (name, last four digits of SS#, choose confidentiality option, and sign) PRIOR to giving the document to your reference writer.
