How can we work with you?

Members of the faculty who are encouraged to contact the Career Services Office for a variety of services including specialized class presentations, integration of career services with gateway and capstone courses, funding available through Auxiliary Services for Alumni Career programs and support of capstone activities. Auxiliary Services grant funded Capstone programs included zoology, journalism, public justice, education, and political science senior-level courses, field trips, refreshments for class presenters, and speaker recognition gifts/presentations.


Join our Faculty Listserv

Career Services has developed a listserv for faculty. Please e-mail Bob Casper, Director of Career Service in order to subscribe to this listserv. Email will be distributed via this listserv that will include information about part-time and local jobs for students and upcoming programs and activities of interest to students and faculty. Information regarding class presentations and use of area resources tied directly to specific majors.


Faculty Newsletter

Each semester the Career Advisor newsletter is mailed to all members of the faculty. This publication includes articles about job market trends, emerging career fields, dates of special events sponsored through Career Services, and specific information relating to the progress of our graduates.


Class Presentations

Career Services staff members are always available to meet with students during class periods. Don't cancel your class! Contact Career Services for a class presentation to be conducted in your absence. Brief presentations describing Office services may be presented or more in-depth career specific presentations and office visits may be developed in concert with a staff member.
