The School of Education and Career Services Office are holding two teacher recruiting programs on Thursday October 18, 2007. A morning Technology Education Recruitment Seminar is planned followed by an afternoon Education Job Fair where over 200 student teachers will be invited.
Last year over 150 senior education candidates attended these programs meeting with over 25 school districts. Candidates are on campus for a professional day scheduled between 1st and 2nd student teaching assignments. Ultimately, 200-250 education majors, most of whom are within 1-2 semesters of certification, will be attending several functions on campus that day.
9:30 am - Noon, Technology Education Recruitment Seminar, Hewitt Union Formal Lounge
1-3 pm, Education Job Fair (all certification areas), Hewitt Union Formal Lounge/Main Lounge
