Our five-month Management Training Program has won acclaim from such prestigious publications as Training and Selling Power magazines. As a member of the Program, you will learn to manage the operations of a global logistics solutions provider.

Your training begins by learning the role of front-line operational supervisors. This 20-week orientation enables you to observe supervisors during the operational shifts of an ABF Service Center. Then you will personally supervise operations under the supervisors' tutelage, gaining new insights into safety, maintenance, and transportation procedures.

Account management is another key aspect of a logistics solutions provider. Therefore, you will follow-up your exposure to operational procedures by spending five weeks with an ABF Service Center's account managers on client presentations and entertainment activities, you will learn the dynamics of proactively managing ABF accounts.

Plus, you will master key administrative functions, including cash management, customer service, and payroll.

Upon completion of training, you will likely begin your career as either a front-line supervisor or an account manager at an ABF Service Center.

Dogs Among Us, LLC Dogs Among Us ~ Canine Campus is Oswego County's Premier Dog Training Facility. We specialize in family dog training, agility and K9 nose work. Our 8 acre campus includes two custom built training buildings and two outdoor fenced training fields. Our first building, Mocha Hall, was opened in March of 2013 and includes our puppy room and agility arena. Jill Tice, owner of EnTICEing Agility calls our facility home and holds over 7 classes weekly. Oswego County Opportunities - Mental Health Transitional Living and Family Care Program The MENTAL HEALTH TRANSITIONAL LIVING RESIDENTIAL PROGRAM (MHTL) and FAMILY CARE offered by Oswego County Opportunities Inc., provides residential services to psychiatrically disabled adults. The transitional Living program is designed to allow adults diagnosed with a severe and persistent mental illness to live in the community in the least restrictive environment. The program offers 2 levels of residential and rehabilitative assistance to adults who cannot live in the community independently. Certified residential services are available at two levels of supervision, the Supervised Residence Program in Fulton provides 24 hour on-site staffing. The Apartment Treatment Program provides a greater level of independence with consumers receiving two to seven face to face visits from staff weekly according to the individual need with staff also available as needed on an emergency on call basis. Single and double apartments are located in Fulton and Oswego.

In addition, one non-certified program (county contractual services) is also available. A short term Crisis Bed program is available for members of the community in need of short term (7-14 days) crisis support in order to avert an unnecessary psychiatric hospitalization, prevent a lengthy hospitalization and/or provide step down support following hospitalization prior to return to independent living status, or while awaiting alternative community placement.

All MHTL program levels offer services designed to assist individuals in the development of skills necessary for successful reintegration into the community, a return to independent living. Counselors provide rehabilitation services in the areas of symptom and medication management, daily living skills training, substance abuse services, supportive counsel and crisis intervention, as well as assistance in obtaining medical/health services, recreational and social opportunities and referrals employment and educational opportunities. This is a voluntary program, where independence, choice and integration are encouraged.

The philosophy of the Mental Health Transitional Living Program is that a community residence and/or apartment treatment program should assist individuals with the development of skills necessary for the successful reintegration into the community at a pace commensurate with their levels of functioning. The commitment of providing a humane alternative to needless psychiatric hospitalization permeate the mission and philosophy of our program. People with a psychiatric disability can be productive and valued members of society, if given the opportunity.


Oswego County Opportunities Family Care Program
It is a Certified NYS Residential Program for adults who are recovering from a mental illness, the Oswego County Opportunities, Inc. Community Based Family Care program provides stable individuals with a severe and persistent mental illness the opportunity to live and interact in their community. Our home providers have found the experience to be very satisfying. The residents are good company and our home providers find comfort in the fact that they are helping their community and offering support to those who are in need.

The OCO Family Care Program currently has two homes in Oswego County. Family Care is in need of homes in the cities of Oswego and Fulton, as well as the villages of Pulaski, Mexico, and Phoenix. Providers may either own or rent their homes. In addition to monthly training and staff support, home providers receive a monthly allotment of $810.48 per resident and a vacation allowance of $749 twice per year. You have the potential of supplementing your families spending allowance by $11,923.76 while at the same time providing a supportive home for an individual in need. In case you were wondering, there are two types of Family Care homes Working and Non working. These options allow an individual to continue working while still providing a supportive and caring home.

We are currently looking for Sales Associates:
The Sales Associate role is designed as a 12+ month leadership training program. As a Sales Associate, you will receive a customized on-boarding plan to assimilate and assure skill transfer in preparation for a Sales District Leader position. You will learn the Frito Lay Route Sales System and base skills of the Sales District Leader position. You will gain exposure to the key players and functions across the Region Business Team. The training and assimilation for this position involves 4-6 months of route level work to learn the foundation of the business and develop an understanding of our DSD network and supply chain. The job is in a physical work environment with varying length work days/schedule. In the CPG industry, weekends and holidays are often our most demanding days. Candidates must be willing and prepared to work weekends and holidays as is required.

Upon completion of the training program, you will share responsibility for all aspects of
managing a sales district of 10-12 Route Sales Representatives (RSR) with varying levels of experience and education. Each Sales District Leader leads a 5-10 Million dollar business. You will be responsible for administrative and technical support, as well as facilitating information. The Sales District Leader Designate must manage multiple tasks simultaneously. The Sales Associate must be able to analyze situations accurately taking effective action under narrow time constraints. It is imperative that you have strong leadership skills, good communication skills and thrive in a fast-paced, constantly changing work environment

Tracing to general ledger. · Review and analysis of inventory purchases to sales and ending inventory count. • Preparation of data to be imported into new accounting software during conversion process and subsequent review of data imported.

IT Intern - The role of the IT Intern is to assist Rapid Response's IT department, mostly Rapid Response's Network Administrators, with departmental tasks, as well as with various special projects. Projects may include assisting IT staff with installing, repairing, and maintaining computer hardware, software and peripherals, and assisting with basic network troubleshooting. This is a full-time paid summer internship.

Qualifications:
Two years of completed college coursework in Computer Science or a related field, and current enrollment in a post-secondary collegiate school.
