** The event will run from 6-8:30pm (you are highly encouraged to be there at 5:30pm) in the Hewitt Union Ballroom.

This event will help you to:

• Understand the many factors to take into account when abstaining from alcohol consumption

• Fine tune your networking skills in an intimate setting that will mirror a typical interview luncheon

• Learn how to make - and accept - professional introductions, seating arrangements around a table, etc.

• Identify specific dining differences across Asia, Europe, and South America as well as a better understanding of religious implications (Muslim, Fundamental Christians, etc.)

• Better understand the purpose of alcohol consumption in a professional environment (drinking as a tool to network and communicate versus drinking for physical effect)

In order to participate in the wine tasting reception, participants are required to:

  1. Provide proof of legal drinking age with two forms of picture ID;
  2. Adhere to the rules of the event as put forth by the coordinators.

This event will be hosted by our very popular and renowned speaker Ms. Barbara Lang, where she will use her signature approach to teaching proper etiquette through humor in storytelling. This program will be extremely beneficial to students as they begin the process of interviewing for positions and establishing their professional presence.

All attendees are expected to dress in business casual attire at a miminum. The cost for student admission is $10.00 for the the entire event.  Registration for this event and payment is completed online via this website (see below.) Supervisees and Advisors: if you wish to purchase multiple tickets for groups of students, please contact our office directly at 312-2255 / 145 Campus Center.

We hope to see you there!
