Exceptional Family Resources	Exceptional Family Resources (EFR) partners with individuals with disabilities and their families, providing services, information, advocacy and other supports to enhance lives and foster community acceptance. Friends Connection is our volunteer program which connects people 18 and older with volunteer companions to enjoy community recreation experiences together. Volunteers commit to taking the person out one time each month. EFR often sponsors activities for the monthly outings such as Skychiefs games, parties, or theater tickets. Volunteers are reimbursed up to $12.00 for recreation expenses, and up to $6.00 per outing for transportation. Oswego AmeriCorps Program	Oswego AmeriCorps is a national service program that works with youth in Oswego County. Members either mentor youth or provide out of school activities. Members serve at schools, libraries, museums, recreation programs and human service agencies. Our 900 hour members serve from 6-12 months. We have 300 hour summer positions also. AmeriCorps members receive a living allowance and an education award in return for their service. The education award can be used for tuition or student loans.

Person To Person: Citizen Advocacy	Person to Person brings the needs and interest of an individual who is developmentally disabled and at risk of social isolation to the attention of an advocate/mentor. This advocate, with the support of the Person to Person office, will respond to those needs through a freely given, usually lasting, advocacy relationship.
