Dear College Recruiter,
The School of Business and the Career Services office at the State University of New York at Oswego are hosting our annual forum for finance professionals and students with strong potential for finance, insurance, and risk management to meet. The "Futures in Finance Fair" will take place on Wednesday, March 12th, 2014 from 4:00 pm - 7:00 pm Sheldon Hall. This event includes critical involvement and support from our Student Chapter of the Financial Management Association. The Finance Fair will provide an excellent venue for our students to learn more about your company as well as for your representatives to identify talent for your potential full-time and intern needs.
It is our sincere hope that you can attend. We will begin with a reverse job fair from 4:00-4:45 pm. At a typical career fair, employers are at tables and students walk around to meet with recruiters representing each company. With a reverse career fair, students will be at tables and the recruiters will be the ones who will walk around and meet the students. It will be up to each student to market their table in such a way to persuade recruiters to speak with them. It's a great way for students to showcase their professional brand!
Dinner for attendees, faculty, staff, and student leaders will begin at 4:45 pm in the lower ballroom of Sheldon Hall, followed by a "meet and greet" from 6:00-7:00 pm. The "meet and greet" component gives you the opportunity to meet students and speak about career paths and specific opportunities. Students will be in business attire and have resumes in hand.
There is no charge to register for this event! If you would like to attend, please register here. The deadline to register is Friday, March 7, 2014.
Thank you for your consideration as we continue this program for our students and the business community. Regardless of your current staffing needs, it would be an excellent opportunity to introduce your company to our interested students who may one day become significant contributors to your future success. Please feel free to contact us if you have any questions.
