Live Action Role Play (LARP) is the art of dressing up as a character and acting out his or her role, instead of just sitting at a table and rolling dice. It mixes classic role-playing with acting, creating a fresh new way to expereince gaming.
The first link above goes to a message board related to the Vampire: The Requiem LARP that STG sponsors. For more information, or if you're interested in joining, talk to Brain or post to the STG forums.
Link number two is for the other LARP that many members of STG attend. Kingdoms of Novitas is a medevial/fantasy boffer LARP. Boffer refers to the foam weapons that LARPers make so that they can safely beat each other up!
