What We Do. . .
We are an improv comedy troupe. Therefore, by default, we do improv comedy.
Improv comedy is comedy (a scene, a sketch, a song, etc.) that is made up on the
spot without anything preplanned by the performers. If you don't believe us, ask
the Wiki. Every show is something new, exciting, and hilarious thanks to
the suggestions given by our audience. We perform interactive comedy at its
best!
Below is a list of all the skits we've been known to do throughout the years.
All of them have a brief description.
187 - We tell a joke about 187 somethings in a bar.
2 to 1 - We perform a scene in 2 minutes. Then the same scene in 1
minute. Then in 30 seconds. . . you get the idea.
Age Flip - Two performers are having their age changed throughout the scene.
Alphabet - Every line said has to start with the next letter of the
alphabet.
Alter Egos - Two performers are in a scene, and we can hear everything that
their thinking.
American Sitcom - We perform a full 30-minute sitcom with commercials.
Animal Chorus - We bark, whinny or oink according to the animals you give us
and when the conductor tells us to.
Bucket of Water - Three people in the scene, one has their head in a bucket
of water, then enters as another goes to dunk their head.
Cliff Hangers - You write down phrases on paper, we say them during the
scene.
Color Commentary - An Olympic-style clash of the titans, and the
commentators in the booth.
Complaint Department - Someone's returning a product and they have no idea
what it is.
Dating Game - Three lucky contestants, one unfortunate bachelor(ette)
Director
- Watch a movie as it's filmed, and you just might get a chance to
be in it.
Do Ron Ron - "I met her on a Monday and my heart stood still. . ." we keep
rhyming for as long as we can.
Elimination - You will tell 4 of us about an interesting day in your life.
Then the 4 of us will perform that day. Then 3 of us will remain.
Then 2 of us. Then 1!
Emotional Chorus - Whining, glee or however you're feeling as conducted.
Emotion Flip - Two performers are having their emotions changed throughout
the scene
Expert Interview - Our panel of three knows everything about the topic you
select
First Line, Last Line - You give us the first line. You give us the
last line. We give you the middle. It's like an improv Oreo, and
we're the cream.
Freeze - A scene between two people, but can be stopped at anytime, someone
else jumps in and starts a whole new scene.
God - You can't help but listen to God, and so must the performers.
God will mess with them and they must comply
Gripe Chorus - You give us topics and we'll complain about them as the
conductor deems necessary.
Helping Hands - One of us is completely normal, the other one has our hands
behind our back and a third is the hands that do all the work. It can get
messy.
House Party - Someone is hosting a party, and some strange folks showed up.
You tell us what we are.
Jazz - A music fest. We make up the song about your topics right there for
you.
Limerick - It's a contest to make the best limerick starting with your word.
Long Form - You give us a topic, we'll take it into many directions and many
scenes.
Movie Critics - You give us movies (that don't exist), we'll show you clips
and tell you if it's worth the $9.50 ticket.
Murder - Watch us murder each other on stage and guess who, where and with
what.
Pick-up Lines - Give us a topic, and we'll make it sexy.
Questions - Give us a scene, and we can only ask questions to each other.
Radio Chorus - Different styles of radio all at once.
Remember When - We'll have a memory and we'll share it with you.
Rewind - Two performers, one is forced to change his line whenever the bell
rings. *ding*
Scripts - One performer has a script (and reads from it), the other has to
go with it.
Slide Show - We'll show you slides from our recent trip to wherever you told
us to go.
Stand, Sit, Lay - One must always being standing, one must always be sitting, one must always be laying down.
Step Left - Four performers doing four different scenes at roughly the same time.
Story, Story, Die - We'll all tell you a story, but if you don't like
it, you can kill us.
Through The Ages - Two performers show you a scene now, and then in
different time periods you designate.
Umm Umm - Be on your toes, when the performers say "Umm Umm", you need to
give them their line.
Worlds Worst - We give examples of the world's worst whatever.
