Frequently Asked Questions. . .

Who are you guys?

Like is said in the What We Do, we are an improv comedy troupe.  Go to that page (or come to a show) if you have any other questions about what improv comedy is.

What is improv comedy?

You don't listen well, do you?  Anyways, improv comedy is a form of comedy where the performers (i.e. us) take suggestions from the audience (i.e. you) and incorporate those suggestions into a comedic scene or skit.  We take on both shortform improv and longform improv, most times in the same show.

Is Shaun Cassidy a member of your troupe?

No. Shaun Cassidy is a relatively obscure entertainer from the 1970's.  He mainly produces now, but we do have one of his records at our disposal.  For a detailed history, go ahead and Wiki him.

OK, so where/when do you guys perform?

Unless there are rare circumstances, we will perform every Saturday night in the Campus Center Auditorium - Room 118 at 8:00.  The shows will always be free.

Can I join? And how?

Anyone is welcome to join at anytime.  We hold practices on Monday nights at 7:00 in Steeper Bell Auditorium, which is upstairs in Hewitt Union.

Practice. . . but I thought it was made up?

It is, but improv is a skill, like juggling, bike riding or drinking, and in order to be good at any skill, you need to practice.

Do you guys do any road shows?

We are always willing to take an opportunity to take our show on the road to another college or any where that'll have us.  See the Booking section for more details.
