Services
S.A.V.A.C.
is the primary Basic Life Support (BLS) Ambulance provider for the
SUNY Oswego
campus. We respond to all medical emergencies on campus,
which also includes Rice Creek Field Station and the Fallbrook Farm.
We also provide care and transport for all students, faculty, and
staff of SUNY Oswego who may reside off campus within the City or
Town of Oswego. If you are off campus and require S.A.V.A.C.,
you must advise the 911 dispatcher that you fall into one of these
categories and would prefer that S.A.V.A.C. respond to your
emergency.
S.A.V.A.C.
provides stand-by coverage for large campus events such as
concerts, rugby tournaments, hockey games, and
graduation.
If you will be holding an event on-campus where a large number of people
will be assembling, you are required to notify S.A.V.A.C.
You may do so by e-mail at
savac@oswego.edu or through ordinary paper mail to:

In
order to provide better service to those we serve, we continually
participate in county drills, attend meetings of the county CQI (Continuing Quality
Improvement) committee, and hold weekly corps drills covering
various topics relating to the operations of S.A.V.A.C. For more about our training,
