Chapter 3

  • P. 66: RAN's "State of the Rainforests" portal, Rainforestweb.org, launched soon after this book went to press. Some time later, it was folded into RAN's main website.
  • P. 70: The POPs Treaty has been signed by more than 150 countries. For continuing coverage of POPs-related issues, see Greenpeace USA's Toxics page or the Stockholm Convention on Persistant Organic Pollutants (the website for the treaty itself).

Chapter 4

  • p. 86: After 17 years as a JustAct project, Bike-Aid became the responsibility of Global Exchange in 2002. Global Exchange, an international human rights NGO, has worked closely with JustAct on a number of projects over the years.
  • p. 125: The Jubilee 2000 campaign was replaced by various successor organizations (e.g., Jubilee Plus) at the beginning of 2001.
