PC Users:
In Microsoft Word use PC-TIF or BMP:
Insert > Picture > From File
Once inserted, you may select and then scale the picture, by dragging a corner of its bounding box.
In PageMaker 6.5 use PC-TIF:
File > Place
Once placed, you may select and then scale the picture. Hold down the shift key to constrain the proportions, then drag a corner of its bounding box.
In QuarkXPress 4.1 use PC-TIF:
Create a picture box in your Quark document using the "Picture Box Tool" located on the "Tools" palette. Click the picture box with the "Item Tool" until it is selected. With the picture box selected...
File > Get Picture...
