The Oswego State Paintball Club was started a few years ago by Shaun Larson and Jason Boss. It is funded by the Student Association and open to all SUNY Oswego students. We are currently a tier 3 school organization and meet weekly in the second floor lounge of Hewitt Union.
The OSU Paintball Club is a member of the NCPA.
We play both indoor and outdoor paintball fields, though due to the upstate New York weather it tends to be primarily indoors for most of the year. We play at Fury Paintball's outdoor field when the weather is good, and at Play To Win's indoor field (formerly Fury Paintball's indoor field). The Indoor field was previously a 10 lane bowling alley, which has been converted into a field with air bunkers and carpeting.
Free Paint Outings are hosted generally once a month. Each player will receive 500 paintballs for playing and field fee covered for them. We take about 15 players per free paint day, and preference is given to those that attend the weekly Tuesday night meetings in Hewitt Union's second floor lounge.
If you'd like to be notified about club events or are interested in learning more, stop by our weekly meeting, or drop us an email at oswegopaintball@yahoo.com [you'll need to remove the "remove this" from the mailing address if clicking the link]
You may also read our club constitution, though it is the copy from 2003, the officers names have been changed to reflect this year's officers.
