Sheldon Square is nestled between Culkin Hall and Hewitt Union. A wealth of greenery provides a relaxed setting for the statue donated by NY state school children honoring Oswego State's founder, Edward Austin Sheldon.

The shores of Lake Ontario provide a spectacular setting for the Oswego State Campus. This panorama includes a view of Lake Ontario from the west campus area near Oneida, Onondaga and Cayuga Halls.

Glimmerglas Lagoon offers scenic vistas of west campus and Tyler and Culkin Halls. The Oswego State University Community Walk meanders along the shoreline and honors the contributions of community members to the campus.
