Welcome to Oswego’s Retired and Senior Volunteer Program! Part of the Corporation for National and Community Service Program and Senior Corps, RSVP helps to provide a service to one’s community through this elderly volunteer organization. Those aged 55 or older who are wishing to contribute to the community volunteering may join. Using their unique talents and expertise, volunteers lead, inspire, and partake in many national and community service programs.

The Eldercrafts is Oswego’s subprogram of RSVP, in which elderly volunteers meet, organize, and create crafts to further serve their community. This website features the Eldercrafts’ catalog. The proceeds go directly to fund this not-for-profit organization. RSVP of Oswego is also associated with both the Americor and Foster Grandparent programs.

Our Philosophy: By pooling our resources through volume purchasing, RSVP (FGP & SCP too) can purchase items less expensively than they would be able to on their own in the open market. Eldercrafts-RSVP is run by an RSVP project. Therefore, it is sensitive to the needs of colleagues and current trends and offers a win-win solution for all projects and the National Association of RSVP Directors.
