  • The Outdoors Club was established to give Oswego students a chance to see and experience some of the natural beauty that the Northeast has to offer. The club activities include: Camping, hiking, rock climbing, white water rafting, and cycling. The majority of the time however the club focuses on hiking and camping, and much of our time is spent in the Adirondacks. However the Outdoors club has spent some time in the White Mountains of New Hampshire, Letchworth State Park, The Shawnagunk Mountains, and the Catskills. A variety of different outings are held for all skill levels. The Outdoor Club focuses on friendship, confidence building, leadership, physical fitness, environmental stewardship, and outdoor safety. The club typically holds weekly meetings where trips and ideas are discussed. In addition to weekly meetings club tradition entails holding a weekly game of water polo in the Lee Hall Pool. If you think you might be interested in climbing some of the Adirondack High Peaks, or if you just want to spend an afternoon snowshoeing around Fallbrook, come to one of the meetings. The club is free to join, equipment is provided, and travel is usually free.
