Inspiration came from early 20th century European design and typography. Of particular note are elements of De Stijl, particularly on the home page, and Jan Tschichold's 1925 typography manifesto 'Die Neue Typographie.'
is a student club of designers and artists who collaborate on interesting activities and events revolving around art, both on campus and in the community. It is open to all SUNY Oswego students.
The club is affiliated with AIGA , the professional association for design, among the following groups: AMERICAN MARKETING ASSOCIATION , SIFE , Great Lakes Review (GLR) and OSWEGO ART ASSOCIATION . It meets on Wednesdays at 12:45 in Lanigan 33.
The club does work for other campus groups, both academic and SA related. It was recently recognized as a Tier II organization funded in part by the Student Association and received $1,400 into its budget for the fall 2007 and spring 2008 semesters. We hope to continue our growth and doing innovative and interesting things. Our goal is to enrich the college experience for both, SUNY Oswego students and the community around the arts.
