Alumnus author to speak about history of black opposition to nuclear bombs

Dr. Vincent J. Intondi, who received a SUNY Oswego master of arts degree in history in 2003, will speak about and sign his book, “African Americans Against the Bomb,” in a free Black History Month presentation at 2 p.m. Monday, Feb. 23, in the college’s Marano Campus Center auditorium.

'Slavery by Another Name' author to appear during Black History Month

Pulitzer Prize-winning author Douglas Blackmon, author of the best-selling book “Slavery by Another Name,” will speak at 7 p.m. Thursday, Feb. 12, in the Marano Campus Center auditorium at SUNY Oswego.
