A three-year, $43,910 grant through the state Education Department’s Teacher Opportunity Corps will boost a SUNY Oswego School of Education program to increase the number of students of color training for careers in urban schools.
SUNY Oswego faculty saxophonist Trevor Jorgensen, trumpeter Terry Caviness and pianist Robert Auler explore such influential instrumental composers as Debussy, Desenclos, Fasch and Hummel.
