SUNY Oswego center to host 'What Business Should I Start?' seminar
SUNY Oswego’s Small Business Development Center will offer a seminar Monday, Nov. 7, in Pulaski to help entrepreneurs determine the best small business to start.
Chena Tucker, a veteran businessperson and the new business programs assistant at the small-business center, will lead the session at 6 p.m. at Pulaski High School, 4624 Salina St.
The seminar, based on bestselling author Rhonda Abrams’ “What Business Should I Start? Seven Steps to Discovering the Ideal Business for You,” is designed to help those who “have no idea which business to start” or “have hundreds of ideas and don’t know which ones to eliminate,” Tucker said.
The session will include a presentation and the E-Type test designed to help each attendee uncover his or her “true entrepreneurial personality.”
“If you would like to open a small business or develop ways to improve your bottom line, you can do it and we can help,” Tucker said.
Preregistration is required, and the cost to attend is $10. For information or to register, contact SUNY Oswego’s Office of Business and Community Relations at 315-312-3492 or firstname.lastname@example.org.
