RSVP orientation set for Sept. 20 at Pulaski church
SUNY Oswego’s Retired and Senior Volunteer Program (RSVP) will hold a volunteer orientation for retired or semi-retired adults at 11 a.m. Thursday, Sept. 20, at Park Street United Methodist Church in Pulaski.
Margaret Weigelt of Pulaski Public Library will be guest presenter immediately following the orientation. A session of RSVP Osteo Bone Builders will precede the orientation, at 10 a.m. at the church.
Contact RSVP at 312-2317 or email@example.com to register for the orientation, one of the periodic informational forums RSVP holds throughout Oswego County. The next orientation will take place in November at West Monroe Town Hall.
RSVP, a division of the SUNY Oswego Office of Business and Community Relations, is locally sponsored by the college and the United Way. Nationally, RSVP is a federal initiative of the Corporation for National and Community Service. The organization enables people 55 and older to stay productive and help themselves by helping others.
