Student work shines in juried exhibition

imageSUNY Oswego students have put their best work forward for the 42nd annual Juried Student Art Exhibition, which opened March 4 in Tyler Art Gallery.

Shown is Dillon Powell, a senior studio art major, working in the Tyler Hall wood shop in preparation for the competitive event. Two student presentations—the juried exhibition and the Master of Arts Thesis Exhibition—have opened at Tyler Art Gallery and will continue through April 3. The gallery, however, will close for spring recess, March 12 to 20.

Exhibitions and programs at Tyler Art Gallery are free and open to the public. Gallery hours are 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. weekdays and 12:30 to 4:30 p.m. on weekends.

Persons with disabilities who need assistance to attend any event at Tyler Art Gallery should call the gallery office in advance at 312-2113.
