Tyler Art Gallery and Waterman Theatre will display for the public on Friday, July 29, media arts pieces of students attending the New York State Summer School of the Arts at the college.
A companion exhibition will include the visual arts pieces of SUNY Oswego faculty. The show was conceived as a convenient gallery viewing experience for the 40 NYSSSA students and others enrolled in summer courses on campus.
The public may attend the free faculty and student exhibitions 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. July 29.
Tyler Hall’s south gallery will show the works of full- and part-time SUNY Oswego faculty and professional staff in ceramics, digital media, drawing, painting and photography. The faculty art exhibition can be viewed by appointment July 5 to 28. To visit, call 312-2113 or 312-2112.
On July 29, Tyler Hall’s north gallery will feature the photography and computer graphic arts displays of NYSSSA students, while their film and video presentations will show in Waterman Theatre, on the lower level between the gallery’s two wings.
