Helping Healing

Terrorism topic for guest speaker

Sarri Singer, who has worked with organizations that aid victims of terrorism worldwide, will speak at 7:30 p.m. Wednesday, Oct. 29, in Room 114 of SUNY Oswego’s Campus Center.

All are invited to attend this free event.

In 2003 Singer, the daughter of New Jersey State Sen. Robert W. Singer, was riding on a bus in Jerusalem when a suicide bomber on board killed himself and 16 others, including all those seated around her.

Singer will speak about the experience and how she is working to help victims of terrorism. Among organizations she has worked with are the One Family Fund, the Koby Mandell Foundation and One Heart.

The Jewish Student Union/Hillel at SUNY Oswego is co-sponsoring the talk with the Zionist Organization of America.
