Paula Behm has been named business development specialist at the SUNY Oswego Institute for Professional and Organizational Development in Phoenix.
Her primary role will be to partner with business, government and nonprofit organizations to assist employers in identifying employee training needs, develop customized training programs and to promote the institute’s ongoing professional development courses.
Behm’s areas of expertise are derived from her 13 years of work experience in academic and human resource settings where she designed and delivered marketing campaigns, implemented continuing education training programs, and provided human resource consulting and outplacement services.
Her academic credentials include an undergraduate degree in human resource management with a focus in adult training and development from SUNY Empire State College, a master’s degree in professional education from Le Moyne College and various certifications in human resource-related fields.
Behm is vice president of membership for the Central New York American Society of Training and Development.
