Tyler Art Gallery to show works from permanent collection

Tyler Art Gallery will present “Paintings and Drawings from the Collection” in a south gallery exhibition from Friday, June 8, to Friday, July 27.

Indian Tales painting by Sacha KolinThe exhibition will be open 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. June 8 and 9 for SUNY Oswego’s Alumni Reunion Weekend and by appointment thereafter.

New York State Summer School for the Arts students residing on campus will visit the exhibition, as will SUNY Oswego summer course instructors and their classes. Members of the public may view the free exhibition by calling 312-2113 for an appointment.

Some paintings and drawings will be familiar to some visitors, but the exhibition will also debut recent acquisitions that have not been shown on campus previously.
